My entry to 's contest to design a stallion for her gorgeous mare Aurelie...

So heres whats going on in the picture. Aurelie (chestnut sabino) recently left the comfort of her herd to search for new grounds to live on & hopefully find a stallion to start her own herd with. Many stallions showed interest in her, but she found them too pushy or violent. She was begining to fear she may have to return to her original herd, but there was still one main area of the land unchecked. Aurelie stops to have a bite to eat, but as she does so, another horse appears on the horizon. Aurelie senses that its a stallion & eagerly awaits his approach.

As the stallion gets closer Aurelie is surprised by his appearance. He is much smaller than the other stallions, almost smaller than herself. And he seems very cautious, where other stallions had seemed overly eager. The handsome young stallion stops as he gets too close for his own comfort. Aurelie whinnies kindly, the stallion stares at her timidly with his head squinted to one side. He takes a few hesitant steps towards Aurelie, who nickers to him. After some time, the pair are within toughing distance. The stallion still seems afraid, but Aurelie reaches out with her muzzle & reassures him that she is a friend, & does not need to be feared...


End of lame-O story lol. So yeah Aurelie finally finds herself a guy she likes, & that she would be happy to spend her life with. So you guys wants info on the smexy boy eh?!

Personality : Shy, very timid, often mistaken for bad tempered when he kicks/bites but its caused by fear, very loving when he's brave enough to allow anyone close to him...

History : As a young foal he started out life pretty good. He was part of a large herd & had lots of other foals to play with. However the humans came & rounded up his herd. In all the confusion, he became seperated from his mother & he was never to see her again. At this point he was slightly over 1 year old. He roamed the land searching for a safe place to stay & hoping that he would find his mother again. One night a small pack of wild cougars attacked him. He would have died that night had it not been for the wise old stag who chased off the cougars. He grew up with the very small herd of deer, but sadly it did not last long, hunting season came around & he was once again forced to find another home. He grew with fear, every snapping twig was 10,000 cougars ready to pounce. He has had a rough life, & nobody has ever loved him, except his mother. When he finally finds Aurelie, he feels emotions he has never felt before, & at last feels like he may have found someone to live for.

God that took forever to write lol. I hope I got Aurelie marking all right, I couldnt really tell what they were like on this side of her body, since the only pic you have of Aurelie on this side is your big herd pic, and she's half covered by Sommer lol Anyways, I hope you like, I had loads of fun drawing them, I especially luff my new guy, I hope Aurelie does too
